The real purpose and audience behind Mr Money Mustache are the same people that are alluded and wanting to look at any topic that involves either making more money or spending it more wisely.
Mr Money Mustache's website is recommendations to improving the quality in life by making changes to small decision like what items you should tech reviews and why not to buy the best of the best as soon as it comes out or buying a brand new car, etc. This information is intended for anyone wanting and willing to make their life more financially, mentally and socially rich. By looking at some opportunists provided by a man who has a valid input on the events. I highly recommend his posts not for his opinion towards a certain topic but more of his overall outlook on a topic and his viewpoint seeing he has clearly explained himself in a concise amount of space and time in his blog posts.
Mr Money Mustache's audience is honestly for everyone but is ideally pointed towards anyone below the top 1% in the world. For example in his blog post "The Top 4 SUV s for Growing Families" the title alone is a hint at his audience given the wording of growing families. Given the fact that if your in the top 1% odds are that you wouldn't be reading this or taking any of this into account at least not in this topic. The main idea is of this post was to look at affordable options for families looking at a vehicle if they were expecting another family member particularly a baby. So a comfort luxury 4 -8 seats with reasonable gas mileage and decent specs, design upgrades for everyone of all financial classes.
The main purpose behind this website is purely to inform and to benefit those int he audience to make more reasonable and affordable life based on their lifestyle choices from Mr Money Mustache himself. That being any topic, "Why I am SO Not Buying the iPad 3" using his already built credentials Mr Money Mustache purpose is to use his power and influence to recommend his decision and why other people should follow in his footsteps. Whether it be why he likes being self employed, why to never buy a brand new vehicle, or why not to buy tech as soon as it drops for example the present day iPhone XS max. All with the purpose in mind to improve the quality of lives buy making smarter decisions with proper reasoning from Mr. Money Mustache himself.

Saket, I really enjoyed reading your post and opinion! I especially enjoyed that you gave a description about what his blog is all about. He doesn’t just tell you his opinion, he explains it. Nowadays, I find it hard to find someone that backs up their opinion, i.e. “don’t buy this because I said not to.” “MMM” tells you his opinion then gives you an in depth analysis as to why he, and you, wouldn’t and shouldn’t buy an object in question. Great work on your post!
