Use the Comments feature below this post to record your invention ideas for a Presentation Project that asks you to study and interpret the impact and influence of an iconic historical event, person, or object.
Come up with a topic for each of the three possible areas of interpretation. Then explain which is your favorite, and why you believe this subject is a worthy Presentation topic.
You can work on this individually, or submit it as a pair if you know who you want to work with on your Presentation Project.

An iconic historical even could be The Geat Depression. A person could be Adolf Hitler. An object could be the telephone and you could see how it has changed over time.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite would be Adolf Hitler. I think it would be interesting to do research on him and to maybe see why he did the things he did. Hitler impacted a lot of lives and it is a time in history that is very important.
An iconic historical event that I would find interesting to discuss is World War II. It ended the fascist experiment in Nazi Germany, led to the United Nations, and cemented America and her allies as global powers. A person that would be a great topic would be Thomas Edison. He was an eccentric inventor and entrepeneur who helped make America what it is today. An object that would be a fascinating topic would be the train. Trains defined the 19th century and connected all of America together. It also sped up immigration into unsettled sectors and helped define the world that is now so commonly known. Of these, my favorite would have to be World War II. This is clear due to how it not only created the league of nations, ended facism, and bolstered America's power. It also changed what war meant. Because of the war, nuclear weapons were developed, and thus ushered a nuclear arms race which would make the world into what is known today. Its significance can still be felt to this day.
